Overview

Salir del Ruedo is an acclaimed Argentine dance-theater production celebrating a 10-year trajectory, created by Mariana Astutti and Laura Azcurra. The project required an updated visual identity system capable of reflecting the show's evolution—bridging traditional flamenco heritage with a contemporary, high-impact performing arts aesthetic.

Concept

The identity explores the tension between structural rigor and gestural rhythm. By juxtaposing ultra-clean, geometric sans-serif grids with expressive, high-contrast script typography, the design translates non-verbal performance: zapateo, body movement, and staging into a dynamic typographic system.

What I did

Art Direction & Campaign Strategy: Defined the visual narrative for the 10th-anniversary tour and major venue premieres, including Centro Cultural Konex.

Typographic System: Developed a hybrid editorial layout combining classical elegance with postmodern contrast.

Multi-channel Collateral: Designed print posters, promotional dossiers, stage/event graphics, and social media campaign assets.
